Mitsubishi Continues to Lead Industry Innovation

Mitsubishi continues to lead the global industry’s innovation with the latest cloud technologies, as it announces the extension of its partnership with ZeroLight. This world-first, real-time cinematic configurator experience gives consumers the ability to configure their ideal 2023 Outlander Plug-In Hybrid – see it in motion, change colors, trim levels and factory accessories.

“Our goal is to elevate the customer experience with every interaction a consumer has with the brand. Enhancing that experience through digital innovation is both a competitive advantage and a customer benefit,” says Kim Ito, MMNA V.P., Marketing.

Phase one of MMNA’s ZeroLight partnership allowed consumers to experience the then- new 2022 Outlander in five stunning virtual environments.

Now in Phase two, the experience offers a real-time cinematic configurator experience. It’s the world’s first, enabling configuration of the 2023 Outlander Plug-In Hybrid ‘on the move’. Once the customer arrives at their preferred destination, they access a personalized interactive microsite that features auto-generated images and videos of their chosen vehicle, ready to be shared on social media.

One of the key technology breakthroughs that enabled this ‘world’s first’ is that this digital experience is streamed in real time from the cloud.

Through ongoing partnership with ZeroLight, Mitsubishi can empower each customer with a personalized journey – offering a smarter, more compelling and connected way for consumers to shop and purchase Mitsubishi vehicles.
